Timing is critical on modern furnace projects. You don’t want to have huge capital costs sitting in a warehouse and you cannot risk extending a repair project. Merkle International understands this because we have been working on furnace projects for more than 50 years.
We bring our expertise to many industries such as aluminum, incineration, coke calciners, lime preheaters, glass, and other ferrous and non-ferrous applications.
We work with your designers to confirm the designs and to work out all the interfaces and takeover points. We know that projects and designs can change and we work hard to make sure that the project startup date is not missed, pivoting through design and scope changes. We pack our materials to meet transportation and site requirements, often incorporating site-specific pallet marking requirements. Our staff works with your logistics personnel or third-party logistics companies to have the materials arrive on time. They prepare all documents for review and confirmation prior to shipment, to help facilitate your customs clearance. They track all shipments through to the port of delivery.
On-site technical support is available for your job site, to help identify any problems and answer your questions. We send in our own technicians to provide on-site technical support during the installation, to point out any discrepancies we see between the approved designs and the actual installation.
We even update the drawings for your records, if there are any site-changes. We also offer follow-up inspections to review your installations. This process may take the form of a site visit or the review of pictures and data from the plant.
